 Dear friends,

I sincerely congratulate the people of Denmark on the occasion of the national holiday – Constitution Day.

Belarus and Denmark for many years have been successfully developed cooperation in the fields of high technology, industry, animal husbandry, climate protection, wind energy.

We can rightfully be proud of our high socio-economic standards, which have become an excellent example for many countries of the world.

Today, these achievements are under threat of unfair sanctions and the escalation of military hysteria, which brings us nothing but decline in living standards and uncertainty about the future.

I am pleased to note that Belarusians and Danes, despite all the perceived contradictions, have managed to maintain the ties established over decades in the fields of trade, investment and culture.

I am sure that only equal dialogue, mutual respect and continued bilateral cooperation will bring peace and tranquility to our common region.

I cordially wish the friendly people of Denmark peace and prosperity.

         Aleksandr Lukashenko

To the people of the Kingdom of Denmark
