President of the Republic of Belarus

Minsk, June 5, 2022

Dear friends,

On behalf of the people of the Republic of Belarus and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you on the Constitution Day.

Your country has made significant progress towards the formation of a welfare society, including the building of effective digital and ”green“ economy, technological industry, ensuring the highest living standards.

Looking back at the history of bilateral relations, which turned 30 years old in february this year, I want to note the great untapped potential of interaction in various industries, including environmental protection, energy, pharmaceutical, investment and agricultural sectors.

The current policy of confrontation undoubtedly does not correspond to the fundamental interests of the people of Belarus and Denmark. I hope that in the near future our countries will successfully overcome the temporary difficulties caused by political instability in the region and continue mutually beneficial cooperation.

On this festive day, I cordially wish friendly people of Denmark peace, prosperity and progress.

                                                                                             Aleksandr Lukashenko

To the people of the Kingdom of Denmark
