Congratulations on the Constitution Day of Denmark

President of the Republic of Belarus

         Minsk, June 5, 2024

Dear friends,

I cordially congratulate all residents of Denmark on Constitution Day, which this year marks 175 years.

In today's realities, the Constitution as the supreme legal document is of particular importance in protecting the sovereignty and independence of the country.

Belarusians, like the Danish people, revere the law which determines not only rights but also responsibilities. We believe that the same approaches apply to international agreements that create the necessary basis and security guarantees for the international community.

We called to support Belarusian peace initiatives, ensure the implementation of the agreements that have been reached and boycott the unilateral illegitimate restrictions that make no sense but destroy trust and respect.

Belarusians are always open for equal constructive interaction with the Danes in order to preserve security and sustainable development of the common European space.

I sincerely wish the friendly people of Denmark peace, well-being and prosperity.

                                                                                     Aleksandr Lukashenko

To the people of the Kingdom of Denmark
